12 Aug Charnock Farm – Wedding Film
Charnock Farm is a beautifully restored barn that combines rustic countryside charm with a modern feel. The lovely arched window with large barn doors provides a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos, and you can even get a shot petting the resident donkeys and goats if that takes your fancy.
Charnock Farm Wedding Highlights Film
It was a bit of a rainy August morning, but thankfully the forecast was set to get much better throughout the day. I nipped outside in between showers to capture some external shots but decided to not fly the drone until the afternoon.
Charnock Farm has a cute pets corner with rabbits, donkeys, and goats. Ashley and Harry didn’t visit the animals on the day but the venue allows wedding couples to visit the pets corner if they want to.
Bridal Preparations
After filming some venue shots, I joined Ashley and her bridal party in the bridal suite where the prosecco was in full flow. The room is spacious with 4 salon-style chairs and mirrors and a dressing table. Ashley had 7 bridesmaids and there was plenty of room for everyone to chill out and enjoy themselves.
I caught up with a nervous Harry as his mum was fixing his buttonhole. The sun came out just in time for the arrival of the guests who excitedly waited in the bar and outside seating area.
The Ceremony
The ceremony room looked lovely, draped in wisteria garlands, and hundreds of fairy lights. Ashley and her bridal party walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon and the couple were finally reunited.
The Couples Shoot
There was not a single cloud in the sky after the ceremony and the photographer and I took Ashley and Harry out to the lake for their couples shoot.
The Wedding Breakfast and Speeches
As family photos and the reception drinks took place, the ceremony room was transformed for the wedding breakfast. Before the meal was served, Ashley’s father did a lovely toast, followed by the Best Man, and Harry.
The Evening Party
There was a great save from Ashley as some fairly aggressive cake cutting nearly pushed the cake off its stand!
Everyone hit the dancefloor and partied the night away to celebrate with the newly married couple.
