Highley Manor in Sussex is an exceptional wedding venue, offering both elegance and natural beauty. Set amidst stunning countryside, its picturesque gardens and historic charm provide a romantic backdrop for ceremonies and receptions.
I’ve had the pleasure of filming at Highley Manor and love the beautiful natural light in the ceremony and wedding breakfast rooms, and the magnificent views from the gardens.

Highley Manor Wedding Venue
The history of Highley Manor dates back to 1669, and you’ll find wonderful features throughout the country house. The indoor reception area centres around a grand staircase (excellent for indoor photos and film) and the countryside views are amazing.
Preparations at Highley Manor
Highley Manor has a dedicated room for preparations with stations for hair and make up and plenty of space to spend the morning with close friends or family. There is also usually the option to head up to the Honeymoon Suite for your final preparations.
Partners can spend time in the bar area or there are a couple of other rooms for getting ready.
Highley Manor Wedding Ceremony
For indoor ceremonies, couples can choose to marry in the Great Hall or the Baronial Hall. For outdoor ceremonies, the venue is licensed for ceremonies at the outdoor pavilion, surrounded by tall tress and countryside views.
Highley Manor Wedding Confetti
After the ceremony, guests can gather outside to throw confetti over the couple. This is probably my favourite part of the day to film, it’s always so colourful and full of smiles and laughter.
Highley Manor Drinks Reception
Reception drinks can be held in the Baronial Hall or outside on lawn. The venue has plenty of space outside for lawn games and group photos.

The Ballroom is a lovely location for your wedding breakfast with high ceilings and tons of character. Round tables look fabulous nestled inside the beautiful bay windows.

After the wedding breakfast, The Ballroom gets turned around for your evening party, with plenty of space for you and your loved ones to have a boogie.

Highley Manor has a romantic secret garden with festoon lighting, perfect for sharing a quiet moment later in the evening.
