Video is such a wonderful way to relive and reflect on the most special day of your life for years to come. Seeing that tear trickle down your cheek during your vows or hearing the laughter of your guests during the speeches will capture all of the emotions experienced on the day in a beautiful keepsake.

 

My style of filming is unposed, candid, and discreet. For most of the day, I’m simply a guest that blends into the background, quietly capturing the day as it happens. You won’t see me with any bulky equipment, as I like to keep my setup as lightweight and unobtrusive as possible, allowing me to move quickly to capture the next shot.

 

As a Sussex wedding videographer, I am with you all day filming and will create a natural and cinematic highlights film perfect for sharing with friends and family.

 

As well as filming weddings in East and West Sussex, I also cover the following areas:

Sussex Wedding Videographer

Although I’m flexible with filming times, I typically join one of you for your preparations around 2 hours before the ceremony to capture those lovely moments shared with your wedding party and film right through until a few songs after you hit the dance floor for the first time together.

 

Drone footage is included within my wedding film package (weather and location permitting) and is used to capture an aerial view of your beautiful venue. Although a commercial drone license is no longer required as of 2020, I am fully compliant with the new drone regulations and hold the necessary insurances.

Sussex Wedding Film

Within my highlights package, I create a 4-5 minute cinematic highlights film edited to music and featuring soundbites of audio from your ceremony and speeches. You’ll also receive your ceremony and speeches in full. If you’re after a more documentary-style wedding film, I offer the option to add a 1-hour feature film.

Full Day Coverage

10 hours of filming, from preparations through to the first dance.

Film Package

4 - 5 minute highlights film and the full recordings of the ceremony and speeches.

FHD Quality

All films are delivered in full high definition.

Videographer

One friendly, experienced camera operator with an additional static camera.

Aerial Footage

Aerial footage to showcase your beautiful venue. Fully compliant with drone regulations.

Delivery

Films are delivered within 12 weeks (but usually much sooner).

A little hello from Catherine

I see it as an absolute privilege to be able to film one of the best days of someone’s life. You’ll see me smiling throughout the day as I just love witnessing family reunions, hearing the heart-warming words spoken during the speeches, and that look on their faces as a couple see each other for the first time.

 

If you’re camera-shy, don’t worry! I’m a very friendly and laid-back person and will put you at ease, probably by cracking an awful joke. It’s always great to have a call to get to know each other a little better and to ask any questions, so let’s arrange a chat to talk through your special day.

 

When I’m not behind the camera or in my editing suite, you’ll find me walking in the North Downs, stand-up paddle boarding, or jetting off somewhere on an adventure.
